3 Crystal Lagoons Developments Prized at Prestigious U.S. Award Ceremony

Since its arrival in the United States, numerous Crystal Lagoons® in the country have been awarded prizes on numerous occasions, both by private and public entities. Once again, the firm’s projects have been recognized, on this occasion by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). 

“The Nationals 2020” granted three Crystal Lagoons developments a Silver Award, namely Windsong Ranch, Epperson and Lake Nona, for their contribution to the industry and THEIR respective communities.   

Lake Nona:

Lake Nona is a 17-square-mile, innovative community focused on sustainable design, healthy living and groundbreaking gigabit fiber optic technology, which will be anchored by a 15-acre crystalline lagoon. Developed together with the Tavistock Devlopment Company, this project in Orlando, Florida, received Silver Award for “Best Lifestyle Program of the Year.” 

Epperson:

The 7.5-acre lagoon powered by Crystal Lagoons technology was the firm’s first in the United States and quickly became a success story in terms of sales and later as a major attraction for local residents. Despite being a private development located in a suburban area 40 minutes away from Tampa, Florida, the project was obliged to open its doors to non-residents when it identified a demand for beach living. The result was so remarkable that it has often had limit public access so as to control the flow of visitors.

Windsong Ranch:

The master-planned community located in Texas has been acclaimed for second consecutive year in four categories: “Lifestyle Director of the Year”, “Master-Planned Community of the Year”, “Best Community Signage” and “Best Lifestyle Program of the Year.” This is the project in particular has received numerous awards.

Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size clear water lagoons at very low costs.
