Construction Of Newest Crystal Lagoons Amenity In Hillsborough County, Florida, Underway
Monumental man-made lagoons with acres of crystalline, turquoise water. Construction has officially begun at Crystal Lagoons® latest amenity set to become the centerpiece of a brand-new community going up in Hillsborough County, in the Tampa area. Local media have said the lagoon “is billed to bring vacation lifestyle to your front door”.
Construction started a few months ago at the 1,000-acre property in Wimauma. Known as Southshore Bay, the master plan community will have up to 2,800 homes, about half of them in a private section for ages 55 and older and will be anchored by a 5.5-acre lagoon.
The project will also include a massive clubhouse and fitness center. It will also have a cafe, a swim-up bar, and all types of aquatic sports activities.
About 50-miles north, the Epperson Community in Wesley Chapel, Florida, boasts a 7.5-acre lagoon.
The lagoon at Southshore Bay is expected to be completed in early 2020.
Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size clear water lagoons at very low costs.
