Crystal Lagoons Milestones Highlighted by Media
The American magazine, Reader’s Digest, has created a ranking of the best travel destinations, and has included Crystal Lagoons® amenities as “record-holding attractions.”
“Nobody likes a crowded pool on a hot summer’s day, so these resorts dreamed big when planning their plunges, which means you can move away from splashing toddlers, swim laps in peace, and still not float into anyone else’s personal space,” begins the article, which then names two of the multinational water innovations company’s Guinness World Records.
The current world record for largest man-made crystalline lagoon is held by Citystars Sharm El Sheikh, which is powered by pioneering technology created by Crystal Lagoons. Located in Egypt’s Sinai Desert, the dream-like lagoon covers 29 acres, which is almost four acres bigger than the crystalline lagoon at San Alfonso del Mar resort in Algarrobo, Chile, which was the firm’s first lagoon. It was also the company’s first Guinness World Record, prior to Citystars Sharm El Sheikh. The Chilean amenity spans the length of 20 Olympic-sized pools.
Crystal Lagoons has developed a pioneering, innovative and sustainable technology that has been patented worldwide, which allows crystalline lagoons of unlimited sizes to be built and maintained at very low costs anywhere in the world, using a minimum amount of additives and energy. This state-of-the-art, environment friendly technology, allows the use of any type of water.
Part of the advantages of this technology is that it allows for any type of water to be used, be it salt, fresh or brackish water, based on their availability, while fully complying with the most stringent international physicochemical and microbiological water quality standards.
Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size clear water lagoons at very low costs.
