Crystal Lagoons’ Public Access Lagoons Will Revolutionize Lifestyle Industry
The multinational in innovation, Crystal Lagoons®, is to bring great changes to the way people spend their yearly holidays. In fact, staycations could become the new trend in tourism.
The company’s newest business model will offer access to their man-made lagoons to the general public. The company has been in talks with major U.S. shopping mall chains to bring this new concept to current and future installations. The new concept is perceived as an opportunity to boost interest in malls and to increase visits, particularly since the boom of e-commerce has hit the retail industry. For investors they are of particular interest as they are unique and creative, and do not compete with other retailers.
“A man-made lagoon could help drive foot traffic to malls”, Kevin Morgan, Crystal Lagoons U.S. Corp.’s executive vice president, told Houston Business Journal.
PALs are also democratizing recreation spaces by opening themselves to the public and generating revenue from underdeveloped urban land sites, due to their social value, with 40 projects taking off in Europe, the U.S., Africa, Asia, Oceania, and South America. The multinational company’s business plan considers 1,000 PAL developments in the US alone. They are especially applauded due to their social value and their motivation towards a healthy lifestyle and the practice of water sports.
Europe’s first PAL has been announced in Spain, not far from Madrid, making the long-time dream of having a beach lifestyle close to home come true for local residents of Madrid. In the U.S., PALs are to land in Miami and Las Vegas–in the latter, Crystal Lagoons will bring its stunning lagoons and beaches to the iconic Strip. In Turkey, South Korea, Australia, and Chile, PALs are soon to be part of several important urban renovation projects. In Thailand and Nigeria are to boost tourism.
By simply paying an entrance ticket, the general public will access the lagoons located within shopping malls, public parks, golf clubs, racing tracks, zoos and aquarium centers, university campuses, unused urban land, entertainment parks and casinos.
Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size crystalline water lagoons at very low costs.
