Diamante Cabo San Lucas photographed from the space


The Crystal Lagoons amenity located at the Diamante Cabo San Lucas resort in Mexico, was photographed from the space by French astronaut Thomas Pesquet, who is currently on the International Space Station,

The astronaut shared on his social networks an image in which a turquoise portion looks like a real puzzle piece over the Mexican peninsula. It is the 4-hectare crystalline lagoon located in the complex, and it became an international trend in applications such as Twitter and Facebook, after its exhibition

Diamante Cabo San Lucas is located in one of the most touristic areas of Mexico, Los Cabos, in the state of Baja California. It spreads out ​​over 8500-acres and, in addition to its crystalline lagoon, hosts one of the world’s best golf courses, according to the prestigious magazine Golf Magazine Top 100 Courses.

The complex is a low-density project and includes villas which are valued between 2 to 4 million dollars. It also hosts five-star hotels, restaurants, cafés, gym, spa, tennis courts, cinema, a playground for children and large green areas, among others amenities.

“Due of its location on the Pacific coast, just 8 kilometers from San Lucas, its Mediterranean climate and year-round sunny weather, is oriented towards American segment of greater exclusivity”, explains Jean Pierre Juanchich, Crystal Lagoons Regional Director for Latin America.

Like all the amenities of the multinational innovation company in the world, the Diamante lagoon is boost by low construction and maintenance cost technology developed by Crystal Lagoons.

This innovation is sustainable as it uses up to 30 times less water than a golf course, 100 times less chemicals than a swimming pool and only 2% of the energy of a conventional filtration system.
