New Stage of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum City’s Lagoon Will Break Five World Records

100-acres of pure turquoise water in the middle of the desert. This is soon to be the world’s largest Crystal Lagoons® amenity the firm is to inaugurate this year in Dubai, financial capital of the Middle East, making it the world’s largest crystalline lagoon.

The immense crystalline lagoon will anchor the project known as Mohammed Bin Rashid City – District One, a joint venture developed with Meydan Group and Sobha, India’s most important real estate and construction firm, in association Crystal Lagoons.

Surrounding the lagoon will be corporate towers, industrial parks, areas for sports, a public park larger than London’s Hyde Park, water parks along with 100 hotels and 1.500 ultra-luxurious residential units, which fluctuate between US $7 and US $12 million.

The lagoon will be over 7 kilometers long and will be surrounded by white sand beaches and hiking and biking trails. The vicinities will have lush green landscaping, converting it into a true oasis.

But this will not be the only record the project will have in Dubai, as it will have a total of 5. In addition to boasting the world’s largest crystalline lagoon, it will host the world’s tallest residential tower with the highest 360-degree observation deck sitting 711 meters above the ground level, the highest restaurant at 675 meters, the longest indoor ski slope that will be 1.2 kilometers long, and the largest dancing fountain at 420 meters.

Crystal Lagoons technology powering the lagoon has truly captivated local Dubai residents, converting the real estate project into one of the most sold in 2019 in Emirates, in the project with the most expensive square meter and the most expensive villas in the entire United Arab Emirates.
