Lagoon Park Again Records Attendance Milestone with Over 1,300 Visitors

For the second consecutive year, the complex located in Bucharest achieves remarkable success, consolidating its popularity and confirming the effectiveness of the PAL® model by Crystal Lagoons.

In 2024, the opening of the Public Access Lagoons® project, also known as PAL® developments, Lagoon Park, in Romania, was a success. More than 1,000 people enjoyed this urban oasis, suitable for swimming and water sports and accessible to all through ticketed entry.

This year, the success was repeated at the pre-opening of the new season. This time, more than 1,300 visitors filled the complex, whose centerpiece is a 2.96-acre lagoon powered by Crystal Lagoons® technology. This achievement highlights the unique appeal offered by this innovative solution.

The crystalline lagoon is surrounded by 118,000 square feet of white sandy beaches, restaurants, beach bars, terraces, and areas designated for events and sports. This infrastructure not only enhances Bucharest’s entertainment offerings but also improves the quality of life for its residents by providing an idyllic beach experience without leaving the city.

Lagoon Park is part of the mega-project Central District Lagoon City, which includes, among other infrastructure:

  • A 5-star Radisson hotel
  • 400 luxury apartments for rent
  • 8,200 sq. ft. of class-A office space
  • Retail areas
  • Restaurants
  • Cinemas
  • A sky bar
  • A spa

The multinational innovation company drives the complex in partnership with the award-winning real estate developer, Forty Management. Both firms are developing additional complexes in iconic European cities, such as:

  • Rome
  • Milan
  • Toulouse
  • Seville
  • Poland
  • Hungary
