In the heart of Distrito Cero, just 20 minutes from downtown Rosario, a landmark in Argentine real estate development emerges: RIA. This new Crystal Lagoons project, designed with a sustainable approach and under the concept of a 15-minute city, marks a new chapter in the growth of the multinational water innovation company in Argentina, its primary market in South America after Chile.
This new project, launched commercially, covers an area of 111 acres, offering a wide range of residential options, from apartment condominiums to individual lots. However, its central jewel truly distinguishes it: a crystalline lagoon with turquoise waters suitable for swimming and water sports, developed with Crystal Lagoons® technology and surrounded by a white sandy beach.
Santiago Feely, director of Life Desarrollos, the company behind this initiative, points out that “we wanted it to be the most important premium neighborhood within Distrito Cero, but it will be the best in the entire metropolitan area of Rosario. The crystalline lagoon will make a difference; it has the particularity of generating an environment that simulates being in the Caribbean. It is like living in a resort, on vacation all year round”.
Architect Martín Bodas of BMA Estudio, responsible for the project’s master plan, emphasizes that “The crystalline lagoon will be the mega amenity and articulator of this project.” In addition to this monumental body of water, the project will have a beach club and a sports area that includes two tennis courts and two paddle tennis courts, among other facilities.
This launch is in addition to other projects recently announced by Crystal Lagoons in Buenos Aires (Openn Pilar), Mar del Plata (Developer Aqua), and Rosario (Vida Lagoon), further consolidating the company’s presence in the country. In this market, all Crystal Lagoons developments have become a sales success. Projects like Terralagos, Lagoon Pilar, Acquavista, and Remeros Beach have generated enormous interest in the market, with impressive sales results. For example, Remeros Beach marketed over 50% of its sites in just two months. Terralagos sold over 1,000 plots and exhausted its apartments in record time, even generating a waiting list for its next building launch in Buenos Aires. On the other hand, in Mar del Plata, Developer Aqua sold a third of its project on the first day of commercial release, tripling the price per square meter and setting a milestone in the coastal city’s real estate market.
