Lago Mar

Lago Mar is a 2,033-acre master-planned community in Texas City. Its master plan includes approximately 4,500 homes and a projected population of 14,000 residents. The community’s centerpiece is an approximately 11.5-acre crystalline lagoon powered by Crystal Lagoons^® technology, anchoring a 100-acre entertainment district.

Residents enjoy designated areas with white-sand beaches, a kids’ cove, an infinity-edge pool, a clubhouse, kayaking, paddleboarding, and sailing. A public-access section also hosts seasonal events, including Lagoonfest Texas, and offers lagoon-side dining at the Blue Lagoon Bar & Grill.

Future phases around the lagoon are planned to add hotels, retail, dining, and entertainment venues, as well as a pay-for-access beach club with multiple beaches, a heated cabana pool, a two-story swim-up bar, water features, a floating obstacle course, and expanded water-sports facilities.
