Sunterra is a 1,039-acre master-planned community in Katy, Texas, developed by Land Tejas and Starwood Land. The Sol Club and its lagoon opened in June 2025, expanding the community’s portfolio of resident amenities.
In 2025, Sunterra ranked No. 5 among the top-selling master-planned communities in the U.S. and remained the top-selling community in Texas, with 1,024 home sales, according to RCLCO Real Estate Consulting.
At the heart of The Sol Club is a 2.7-acre crystalline lagoon powered by Crystal Lagoons® technology. Residents can enjoy turquoise waters, white-sand beaches, swimming, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and spaces designed for relaxation and resort-style living.
The opening marked the 14th Crystal Lagoons® project in the U.S. and the sixth in Texas.
