Angel Lagoon is the new Crystal Lagoons PAL® project in Texas, gearing up to open its doors. It is the multinational water innovation company’s first complex under the joint venture model. It is part of the master agreement signed with Lagoon Development Company to develop Public Access Lagoons™ projects in Texas, with openings projected between 2024 and 2026.
Located in Dayton, just 40 minutes from downtown Houston, Angel Lagoon sprawls over 40 acres. Its centerpiece is a monumental four-acre crystalline lagoon featuring Crystal Lagoons® technology. The artificial lagoon is suitable for swimming and water sports and is surrounded by white sandy beaches, accessible to all through ticketed entry. This aquatic oasis will deliver visitors an idyllic beach lifestyle experience 365 days a year.
“The experience of crystalline waters, white sandy beaches, and numerous activities in a PAL™ development attracts people from far and wide and makes it a truly successful destination,” said Uri Man, CEO of The Lagoon Development Company. “This is precisely why we have chosen to partner with Crystal Lagoons.”
Angel Lagoon will offer various attractions, including live concerts, inflatable water slides, water activities and competitions, and relaxation areas. Additionally, it will feature themed beaches, including family-friendly, VIP, and entertainment-exclusive ones.
“These joint ventures allow us to expand our PAL™ projects into strategic areas, and with them, Crystal Lagoons will total more than 70 projects in different stages of development and negotiation in Texas. Among them are notable successes developments such as Lago Mar, Windsong Ranch, Balmoral, Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort San Antonio, and Sunterra“, said Iván Manzur, Senior VP of Sales at Crystal Lagoons US Corp.
The United States is the world’s main market for Crystal Lagoons, with more than 275 projects in different stages of development or negotiation, and Texas has a significant presence.
