Crystal Lagoons Develops Most Ambitious U.S. Project To Date With Leading Houston Developer

Houston’s largest and most successful developer, Land Tejas, has recently embarked on its most ambitious concept to date. Together with Crystal Lagoons®, the project is set to create a truly unique 28-acre mixed use development known as Lago Mar, in Houston, Texas, which will include several white sand beaches and water attractions for the whole family.

The first amenity to function under the Public Access Lagoons ™ business model, Lago Mar will offer a series of beaches for residents of the private residential community, retail and daily access for non-residents.

According to a recent study conducted by Houston Business Journal, Land Tejas is the largest Houston-area residential real estate developers for 2020. Founded in 1997 by Al Brende, Land Tejas developed 2.932 local lots in 2019.

Lago Mar’s crystalline lagoon, powered by an innovative, water-saving technology which reduces its impact on the environment, will be the largest in Texas, making it a unique destination, ideal for a staycation. With the opening of this PAL™ everyone will have the opportunity to enjoy beach life throughout the year, and within walking distance of their homes.
