Crystal Lagoons project in South Africa wins “The African Property Awards” again

The successful Crystal Lagoons project in South Africa, Munyaka, which features the largest crystalline lagoon in the country, has added another accolade to its impressive collection of nine international awards. It has again been recognized at the African Property Awards, the prestigious international recognition that honors excellence and innovation in real estate projects.

This luxurious project, located in the Midrand region near Johannesburg, is a real estate development powered by Crystal Lagoons in association with the country’s leading developer, Balwin Properties. Since its launch, Munyaka has achieved unprecedented commercial success, frequently leading sales rankings and receiving various awards. In just four days, 550 apartments were sold, mirroring the record set by The Blyde, another complex developed by Crystal Lagoons with Balwin Properties, in Pretoria.

The monumental crystalline lagoon with turquoise waters, recognized as “Johannesburg’s first beach,” covers an area equivalent to seven rugby fields, offering a new and unique beach experience in this city, the leading financial and economic center of South Africa. Even the President of the Republic, Cyril Ramaphosa, has highlighted the project’s significant urban contribution. “Munyaka brings to life the South Africa we aspire to, boosting its economy. This is a magical place. Seeing the lagoon and the open spaces, I think this is how great communities are built,” he stated one occasion.
