***The complex, which will feature Orlando’s first Conrad hotel, reinforces the presence of the multinational innovation company in the hospitality industry.
More than 10,000 rooms will surround the lagoon powered by Crystal Lagoons® technology anchoring the new project that the multinational innovation company is developing in the United States. The location will be developed just steps from Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort, in the heart of Orlando, the nation’s most visited destination with 75 million tourists a year.
The resort will be transformed into one of Florida’s biggest tourism projects, changing the paradigm of vacation developments offering world-class resort and hotel standards, while consolidating Crystal Lagoons presence in the hospitality and entertainment industry. Although Orlando already possesses all kinds of infrastructure imaginable, it does not offer an idyllic beach life, which can be resolved by the multinational innovation company’s technology and concept.
Known as Evermore Orlando Resort, the project will be anchored by an immense crystalline lagoon, extensive beaches and Orlando’s first Conrad hotel (Hilton’s luxury brand), with 433 rooms. In addition, there will be a varied offer of houses, villas and apartments. The complex will feature an 18-hole golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus, one of the world’s best golfers. The first phase of the project will open in 2023.
“Crystal Lagoons offers a new standard for tourism and entertainment with extremely attractive returns. This has been identified by the hotel sector, when verifying that when a beach is incorporated in inland areas, its rates increase by up to 200% compared to hotels without bodies of water. Hilton, one of the main hotel chains, understood it that way and decided to make a qualitative leap compared to the existing offer in one of the most touristic areas in the US and the world”, explains Ivan Manzur, Senior VP of Sales, Crystal Lagoons US Corp. of Crystal Lagoons US.
Currently, the United States is the main market for Crystal Lagoons operations with more than 221 projects in different stages of development and negotiation, among which are Sole Mia, Balmoral, Windsong Ranch, Lake Nona, Section 31, Southshore Bay, Mirada, Avenir, Sierra Vista. In addition, the company is expanding its successful Public Access Lagoons™ projects offering ticketed-entry, also known as PAL™ projects, in Florida and Texas, and important master agreements such as the one signed with Epic for 16 developments in different geographical areas.
“We are holding advanced negotiations with investment funds and leading malls in Florida, California, South and North Carolina, Texas, Arizona and Oklahoma for additional master agreements, which now represent 90% of the firm’s contracts,” adds Manzur.
PAL projects become the most beautiful places in the city. There are models with more or less infrastructure and the most complete ones have spaces for roadshows, launches, food-halls, weddings, and even concerts that can be set-up on beaches, terraces, under domes, as well as an array of cuisines, retail, amphitheaters and shows.
