Club Moolia, Australia’s first automotive Country club, will be the exclusive project that will host the first lagoon with Crystal Lagoons® patented technology in Perth, Australia.
This exclusive resort will open its doors in 2022 and will be open for only 600 members. The lucky few will enjoy the turquoise waters and tropical beaches all year-round, while participating in aquatic activities such as kayak, diving, swimming and paddle-boating.
Besides the impressive clear-water lagoon, Club Moolia will offer a 4km long racing track, designed to allow its members to test the performance of their cars. Sitting on acres of flat land set amid a breathtaking valley, the track consists of 17 idiosyncratic turns, multiple high-speed straights, and six varying configurations. During nighttime, its use will be completely reserved for electric cars.
Comprising 3,000 acres, the country club has attracted race enthusiasts, celebrities, and high net worth individuals from all over the Asia-Pacific with its prime location, wide range of amenities and sheer beauty.
Sustainable technology
The construction costs for a lagoon powered by Crystal Lagoons technology are very low, even lower than those of a park of the same size. In addition, operating costs are very low, due to the efficient use of safe additives and energy.
This revolutionary technology also stands out for its low water consumption, as it operates in a closed circuit, needing only to replace the water that is lost through evaporation. In comparison, a 1-hectare lagoon consumes only 50% of the water required for the maintenance of a park of the same size, and a lagoon of average size consumes around 30 times less than a golf course.
Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size clear water lagoons at very low costs.
