France’s leading TV station, TF1, has recognized Crystal Lagoons® unique, state-of-the-art water amenities. During it’s fun quiz show, Burger Quiz, the program’s assistants talked of the multinational water innovation company’s lagoon in Algarrobo, off the coast of Chile, as the world’s largest man-made lagoon. Known as San Alfonso del Mar, the crystalline lagoon, which is ideal for swimming and a wide array of non-motorized watersports, and was once awarded the Guinness World Record until 2015.
For San Alfonso del Mar, the firm’s founder and President of Crystal Lagoons, which was recently valued at US $4.1 billon, created a pioneering and environmentally sustainable technology, patented worldwide in over a 190 countries.
