Since its inception, Santa Rosalía Lake and Life Resort in Spain has captured global media attention. Described as the “Caribbean in the Mediterranean,” this project has been highlighted in numerous articles as one of the largest Crystal Lagoons projects in Europe. Its 4-acre crystalline lagoon was the largest in Europe until 2022, when Alovera Beach in Madrid, also by Crystal Lagoons, surpassed it with a monumental 5,2-acre crystalline lagoon.
Recently, the prestigious Spanish newspaper La Razón published a feature on Santa Rosalía, highlighting the unique characteristics of this project. Its expansive turquoise body of water, developed with Crystal Lagoons® patented technology, has been awarded the European Property Awards multiple times for its sustainability, innovation, and design.
Strategically located on the idyllic Costa Cálida in Murcia, Santa Rosalía Lake and Life Resort benefits from a privileged climate with over 300 days of sunshine a year and is surrounded by golf courses. Life at this project revolves around its artificial lagoon, which offers a unique nautical experience. The lagoon allows water activities and sports in a safe environment, including swimming, sailing, paddle boarding, and kayaking. Additionally, the complex features exclusive residential areas, including houses, apartments, and condos, as well as commercial zones and spaces dedicated to entertainment and sports.
This amenity is within a 30,6-acre reserve of gardens, parks, and forests near Murcia and Cartagena. In the middle of the lagoon are two paradise islands with palm trees and several white sand beaches with turquoise waters, creating a perfect setting to enjoy beach life year-round.
