Balmoral, a major master-planned community in Houston, Texas, was the state’s first real estate development to include a Crystal Lagoons® amenity. Having seen continued sales success since it was inaugurated in 2018, it has now secured more land and lot positions for future development.
In an article by the Houston Business Journal, Balmoral was stated as one of the top-performing master-planned communities in the country in 2019, ranking well in industry experts, California-based John Burns Real Estate Consulting reports.
Developed together with real estate developers Land Tejas, the company now has added three crystalline water amenities by Crystal Lagoons to master-planned communities across Texas.
In 2017, Land Tejas bought the patented technology from Crystal Lagoons U.S. Corp.® to create the Houston area’s first Crystal Lagoons water amenity in Balmoral, using the multinational innovation company’s proprietary construction methods and filtration systems to maintain the lagoon’s signature turquoise color.
Crystal Lagoons concept and technology, patented worldwide, has changed the real estate paradigm of “location, location, location” by adding premium values to real estate projects. The firm creates idyllic beaches with lagoons of crystalline water of excellent quality, in previously unimaginable places, and changes the landscape by creating a breathtaking turquoise water destination that can be enjoyed all year round.
Land Tejas is currently working to open its largest Crystal Lagoons amenity yet in Texas City, which will span over 12 acres in the Lago Mar development.
In January, Land Tejas announced plans to build the area’s third Crystal Lagoons amenity in its Sierra Vista master-planned community, which is located about 25 miles south of downtown Houston on Highway 288.
