Crystal Lagoons opened a new Public Access Lagoons® project, also known as a PAL® complex, in Texas. Angel Lagoon, located in Dayton, has been described by international media as a “paradise just 40 minutes from Houston”. This development features a monumental crystalline lagoon, suitable for swimming and water sports, as its main attraction, with Crystal Lagoons® technology.
This sizeable turquoise body of water, surrounded by white sandy beaches, includes a water park with inflatable slides and allows for various activities such as swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, sailing, windsurfing, and kitesurfing. Additionally, it will host live shows and concerts, transforming the recreational landscape of East Texas.
PAL® projects, accessible to anyone through a ticket, bring the idyllic beach lifestyle just steps away from homes in the middle of the city. They offer event spaces with unparalleled scenic beauty, thanks to their large crystalline lagoon that lights up at night, creating a magical atmosphere and extensive infrastructure with terraces, amphitheaters, domes, commercial spaces, and entertainment areas.
These artificial lagoons provide a unique tropical beach-style experience in the city’s heart, ideal for relaxation and fun in an environment that until now did not exist in the cities.
The United States is the primary global market for Crystal Lagoons, with over 275 projects in various development and negotiation stages. Texas, in particular, boasts over 70 complexes, including notable successes like Lago Mar, Balmoral, Windsong Ranch, Sunterra, and Sierra Vista.
