This year, the monumental 12-acre artificial lagoon set the stage for a day filled with water activities, live music, and gastronomy, providing an idyllic beach environment to honor fallen heroes.”
Lago Mar, in the heart of Texas and developed under the Public Access Lagoons° model, also known as PAL° complexes, has made an unprecedented impact since its inception. This project has transformed the lifestyle thanks to Crystal Lagoons® technology, which has become the region’s epicenter of family entertainment, fun, and aquatic life.
The success of this initiative is undeniable. It has positioned Lagoonfest Texas as the preferred summer destination and set a record by hosting the most significant number of floating cabins in North America, totaling 22. Furthermore, it’s a project that experiences explosive visitation. Last year, the Lagoon welcomed over 80,000 visitors from all states.
The crystalline lagoon marks a milestone. It is equivalent to 50 Olympic-sized swimming pools, spans over half a kilometer from end to end, and offers white sandy beaches extending over a kilometer and a half. It is nearly six times larger than the first crystalline lagoon in that state, Balmoral. Crystal Lagoons developed both projects in association with Land Tejas.
