Once again this year, Crystal Lagoons has set a record for new projects and lagoon fillings, featuring real estate developments and the Public Access Lagoons® project, also known as PAL® developments, on different continents.
In its largest global market in the United States, with 275 projects at different stages of development and negotiation, the company is achieving new milestones in two of the most dynamic states: Texas, with 70 projects, and Florida. In Texas, the new project Ascensions on Lake Travis became the first PAL® development in the Austin metropolitan area in association with Austin Real Estate Ventures. The crystalline lagoon will serve as the centerpiece of this high-end hotel complex, further consolidating Crystal Lagoons presence in the hospitality industry. Just minutes from Houston, the PAL® complex Angel Lagoon, powered in partnership with The Lagoon Development Company, also stands out. Meanwhile, Brightwater is preparing to open in Fort Myers, Florida, joining other projects with Metro Development Group, such as Mirada, Epperson, and Southshore Bay.
With a new PAL® development in Seville, Crystal Lagoons continues its expansion in Europe, transforming iconic cities. This complex is part of the multinational’s projects with the award-winning Switzerland firm Forty Management in various European cities, including Lagoon Park Bucharest, a PAL® project that transformed the capital of Romania and sold out tickets more than a week before its opening.
In Latin America, Colombia leads with seven new projects. A master agreement with AED for six complexes in Tolima, Cundinamarca, Valle del Cauca, and Meta has been signed. A significant milestone marking entry into the Latin American retail market is Kristal Malls, in Cartagena de Indias, the largest shopping center in the Colombian Caribbean and the country’s first Shopping Resort, developed in association with AED and Arquitectura & Concreto. The Chacoí complex has been announced in Paraguay, adding to the 18 projects Crystal Lagoons has in cities like San Bernardino, Pedro Juan Caballero, Hernandarias, and Luque. Meanwhile, in Mexico, the multinational continues to revolutionize the hotel sector with the luxurious AVA Resort Cancun, located just ten minutes from Cancun airport, establishing itself as a new vacation destination in Mexico. Acquavista, in Córdoba, the second-largest city in Argentina, will soon begin filling its lagoon, located near Villa Carlos Paz.
With over 45 projects, Egypt has positioned itself as Crystal Lagoons primary market in the MENA region.
